Director & Founder of Curious Atelier
Chris is the visionary behind Curious Atelier. A trained dentist by profession and a creative at heart, he brings a unique blend of precision, artistry, and global style to every project. Originally from Hong Kong, Chris has a strong background in luxury fashion, art and beauty, which shapes his refined eye for detail and elevated approach to interiors.
With extensive experience in both Asian and Australian real estate markets, Chris offers a rare depth of knowledge that shapes Curious Atelier’s distinct styling philosophy. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, Chris also builds strong, lasting relationships with international clients.
As the creative mind behind Curious Atelier, Chris leads with intention. His passion for design, paired with an innate sense of style, allows him to transform ordinary spaces into effortlessly stylish, welcoming homes. Every project is approached with purpose - curated, thoughtful, and always a reflection of timeless elegance.
Juliana Verissimo Watson
Senior Stylist
Juliana Verissimo Watson is an interior designer and stylist with over 20 years of experience creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Originally from Brazil and now based in Sydney, she holds a degree in Architecture, complemented by studies in Interior Design in Milan and Interior Decoration at TAFE Sydney. Her passion lies in transforming homes through thoughtful design, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of how people live and experience a space.
Juliana also leads Kolibri Interiors, a studio dedicated to Airbnb and short-term rental properties. Through a collaborative partnership, Curious Atelier and Kolibri Interiors work together on selected short-stay projects, combining styling, design, and guest-focused expertise to create memorable stays.
Marius Salzmann
Head of Operations
Marius is the operational backbone of Curious Atelier, bringing extensive experience in business leadership, strategy, and performance management. As the owner and Managing Director of Salzmann Radiators Pty Ltd, he understands what it takes to build and grow a successful business while maintaining exceptional client service.
With an international background spanning Germany, the U.S., New Zealand and Australia, Marius brings a thoughtful and structured approach to every aspect of the business. At Curious Atelier, he manages operations and business processes, helping ensure seamless project delivery and an outstanding experience for every client.
